Assistant Project Scientist
Jeffrey Riley is an Assistant Project Scientist in the Brain Circuits Lab. He received a B.S. in Exercise Science with High Distinction from the University of Iowa and his Medical Doctorate from the Roy J. & Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa in 2004. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship at Exempla St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado, before beginning a Neurology Residency at the University of California, Irvine, subsequently completing a post-doctoral fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Jack Lin and Dr. Steven Cramer at UC Irvine.
Dr. Riley’s research employs a range of neuroimaging measures, including diffusion tensor imaging, fMRI, and EEG to investigate the relationship between alterations in the structure and function of brain networks (both from developmental and pathological processes) and associated changes in motor functioning and cognition.
