Avalene is currently a junior studying neuroscience on the pre-med track. She plans to go to medical school after graduating. During her free time, Avalene enjoys reading cheesy self improvement books in her hammock, dancing zouk, and cooking (specifically pasta).
Samantha (Sam) Kroon, M.S.

Sam is a recent UTD graduate holding a BA in Speech pathology and a BS in Neuroscience. She’s currently interviewing for PhD programs beginning in fall 2024. Sam is a bit of a movie buff, and enjoys going to the climbing gym on the weekend.
Giana Abraham

Giana is currently a sophomore majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Visual Arts. She hopes to pursue a MD/PhD after graduation. In her free time, she enjoys skateboarding and crocheting (not concurrently). She also loves to read from her ever-growing list of books and is always in need of new recommendations.
Shreyas Chandra

Shreyas is currently a sophomore majoring in neuroscience and minoring in Spanish. After graduation, he plans to attend medical school and enter the field of psychiatry. He is interested in writing science fiction short stories and listening to Spanish songs during his free time.
Victor Nguyen

Victor is currently a Sophomore majoring in Molecular Biology with a minor in Neuroscience. He plans on pursuing a career in biomedical research to help develop novel therapies for diseases. In his free time, he enjoys playing the violin, watching Netflix, and making origami.
Ayesha Usman
Neurobiology of Language
Ayesha is currently a Senior at UTD majoring in Psychology and minoring in Film Studies on the pre-med track. Come July, she will be beginning her medical school journey. In her free time, she enjoys reading new books, going on walks, and practicing Tae Kwon Do.
Evie Spiro

Evie is currently a senior at Plano West Senior High School and after graduating plans to major in Cognitive Science. She enjoys music, film photography, and reading!
